Take Out Project is a ceramic sharing program designed to bring functional ceramic pieces such as cups, mugs and serving dishes to our community.
Our Goals
- We ask people to slow down and think about what they are consuming. What they are putting into their bodies, as well as what they are purchasing and using in their homes.
- We ask that in doing this, they will re-connect with their community.
We will achieve these goals with several projects. Our focus is on the small gathering (10-15 people).
- We are bringing back the potluck! Look for potluck invitations and announcements on Facebook.
- Pop-up Coffee Shops! Free coffee out of a handmade mug while interacting with the people around you. We will post announcements on Facebook.
- Community Service Project. We will be cooking a meal for residents of a transitional housing center and serving off of Take Out Project dinnerware.
- Interactive Gallery Exhibition and Potluck! More info soon.
All of these projects will be accompanied by photographs and written feedback from Take Out Project participants. These will be available on the stories page of this site.
