Middlefork

Well, the decision has been made.  I am naming my new line "Middlefork".  It is re-purposed restaurant ware that I have made funky yet nostalgic by combining my own drawings with text from my grandmother's letters from the 1940's.  I then apply this to the dinnerware and re-fire.

These will be at First Friday, June 5th.  This will be my last First Friday Open Studio at Railroad Square.  I am finishing up my year-long residency at 621 Gallery and will be working from home starting in August.  Thanks so much to everyone at 621 for a fantastic year of work!  Especially Denise Drury our Executive Director who works so hard.

Hot out of the kiln.  I'm having a hard time getting into the studio as much as I would like.  Teaching. Four weeks left. 

First Friday Success.

Here are some of the plates from Friday night.  Don't pay attention to the wrinkly tablecloth.  I'll work on it for next time.  Ignore the glare.  Darn glossy glaze.
